SFR arrived on the market for IP Centrex
- As operators increasingly offer fixed-mobile convergence, SFR made his entry on fixed in enterprises. The operator targets SMEs with 20 to 500 posts.
Under the generic name of "One Solution" SFR, SFR Entreprises offers five bids based Centrex, thus deleting the PABX. All these offers have the same prefix because "the idea is to introduce businesses as their sole interlocutor in terms of telecom," says Franck Esser the CEO of SFR.
Two of them, it is the novelty, the sets concern: "Centrex SFR One Fix" and "One Fix Connected." For the launch, the operator had completed its mobile network using a portion of the fixed network of Neuf Cegetel. It has installed its own management platform calls Centrex and uses software softphones Thomson Cirpack.
A network integrators
The integrator AmecSpie supports the installation: creating links DSL installation of the new IP phones and redesigning the LAN. The trade is handled by the subsidiary Future Telecom and partners, mainly from computers. 70 were recruited under the programme Mobile IT Program launched earlier this year.
Buoyed by specialized operators as B3G or Acropolis, the market for Centrex is addressed today by international operators like BT or those from Verizon and mobile such as Bouygues Telecom and SFR Entreprises now. Very competitive market, it is complex to capture because it requires a variety of skills: telecom networks, telecom integrators, information technology integrator and distributor indirect. With its new offerings, SFR will now face up to competition from software houses and all the players in the unified communications.
SFR Launches Business also offers Connected, which resembles the offer Centrex but with the PABX. An offer so-called "Duo combines fixed and mobile, the employee's terminal choosing indifferently. Finally, just two bids for tenders to replace older: "absolute" One SFR SFR replaces Absolu (launched in January 2006) for mobility with unlimited calls SFR and "replaces" One Office Area Office for mobility within of the company.
